This policy explains what personal information Mirus Ventures LLC ("Mirus", "we") collects through mirus.ventures (the "Site"), why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Information you give us
The Site has one form that collects personal information: the Request the brief form at /contact. It asks for:
- your name
- your email address
- your family office or firm
- an optional free-text note
You choose what to put in the note field. Please do not include sensitive personal information there.
We use this information for one purpose: to respond to your request and to follow up about a possible capital relationship with Mirus. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
2. Information collected automatically
Authentication. If you hold an LP account, signing in sets session cookies so the Site can recognise you across pages. These are strictly necessary — the LP areas of the Site cannot work without them. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Diagnostics and performance. The Site records technical events such as page load timings, browser errors, and the pages visited within a session, so we can find and fix faults. Where you are signed in, these records are associated with your account.
Server logs. Our web servers record standard request metadata, including IP address, user agent, and the time and path of each request.
3. Where your information goes
Information submitted through the Site is transmitted to and stored on infrastructure operated by Mirus and its affiliated DwyerLab platform. It is accessible to Mirus personnel who need it to respond to you.
We do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We may disclose it where we are legally required to, or where necessary to protect our rights or the security of the Site.
The Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request. No form data is sent to Google.
4. How long we keep it
We keep information submitted through the contact form for as long as it is needed to respond to your enquiry and to maintain a record of our correspondence, and no longer than is necessary for that purpose. Server logs are retained on a shorter operational cycle and are routinely overwritten.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see section 5.
5. Your choices
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it
- stop contacting you
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — including under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, and under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We apply the rights above to everyone who asks, regardless of location. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

6. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect information submitted through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Site is not directed to children and is intended only for the investors described in our Terms of Use. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version posted on the Site is the version in effect, and the date at the top reflects the last change. Material changes will be reflected in that date.
